Types Of Lubricants We Use
We offer a number of dry lubricants or solid lubricants at Coating Systems, Inc. These are materials that, despite being in the solid phase, are able to reduce the coefficient of friction between two surfaces sliding against each other without the need for a liquid oil medium. This will allow your products to last longer, and increase productivity while decreasing operating costs. Some of the advantages of dry film lubrication are that they add anti-galling and anti-aging properties which, in turn, can speed up production.
Certified To Apply High-Tech Coatings For Top-Tier Manufacturers
We work with a number of top-name manufacturers including Arkema, Cerakote, Dow Corning, and DuPont. Arkema is recognized for using nylon coatings that provide a protective layer to any metal substrate. Nylon has long been used as a tool coating in order to prevent scratching on assemblies that require a delicate touch. Another manufacturing partner we have a standing business relationship with is Dow Corning. Dow Corning came up with Molykote which often shows up on engineering specifications where extreme loads require lubrication or breaks in torque on fastening systems. Coating Systems Inc. is certified to apply Molykote with both conventional spray equipment and dip-spin equipment. We have the necessary equipment required to cost-effectively bulk coat thousands of pounds daily e.g. a Springtool 16 and three Ronzi 200’s.
